Overview | Allyl magnesium chloride is an organometallic compound and can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis. |
preparation | allyl magnesium chloride is prepared as follows: 20g of allyl chloride, 12vol THF are added to the allyl halogenated alkane supply device 11, shake well, and the obtained mixture is ready for use. The external bath temperature of the Grignard reagent preparation device 13 was raised to 50-55°C, and the mixture was pumped into the Grignard reagent preparation device 13. Under constant stirring, the magnesium chips are added from the metallic magnesium supply device 12 (solid feed funnel), and 0.4g I2 is added to the Grignard reagent preparation device 13 for thermal initiation. After thermal initiation, the temperature of the reaction system is immediately reduced to between 0 ~-15 ℃, a continuous Grignard reaction is carried out, and allyl magnesium chloride is continuously prepared. |
